it’s a play on the fact that in college we live by the x-acto knife, but I agree, it is a stupid add

well i don’t think so, depends actually, the ads just want to be different from the others, it shows that working there is somehow differ from other firms, and a person that they want should be creative and different which can come out with X-tra ordinary ideas, X-tra works during weekends, can handle verything extra ..ahhahah…sometimes when there are too much thinking, the architect somewhat can be so different from others physically or mentally,, enjoy, everyone have different ideas rite?????

It grabbed enough attention to get a post on an architects blog. Good or bad, the vacancy ad has become viral and will get more exposure. The advertiser’s job is done.

    Hi everyone :)
I doubt that a designer produced such work… The design quality is quite bad in comparison to International standards! I would never work there even if they pay loads! The impression I get is that they are not professional. AND… trying to synthesize a joke with a bad sense of humor can only make the offer worse.
    :S
    cheers!

There’s the good, the bad and the ugly. Most times only the ugly is real. Or… when i’m good, i’m good, when i’m bad, i’m really good. The mind behind the adv. has been to places many do not dare. i think that is institutionalised thinking on their part, whereas the creative mind is not limited by other’s boundaries. so, do you want a good architect or not.
