Madonna Concert May Cause Stadium Collapse
6 September 2006 | Category: Architecture Matters

According to Nodar Kancheli, a Russian architect - Madonna’s upcoming concert in Moscow could bring down the roof of Luzhniki stadium. One of the many reason why Nodar Kancheli predict such scenario is because of his previous buildings, two of them actually that suffered a horiffic collapses.

On February 23, 57 people died when the roof fell in at Moscow’s Yasenovo market because of heavy snow and overloading of floors. On February 14, 2004, the roof of the city’s Transvaal water park caved in under the weight of snow, killing 28. Like all corrupt nation, Nodar Kancheli - a 68 year old man walk away free.
Back to Madonna and the Stadium, the concert is schedule on September 12th. Will see what happen then. Wait, of all stadium, Madonna choose this stadium… maybe she wanted this to happen. Yeah, free publicity - and in the west, there is no such thing as bad publicity ( i think so) - unlike Hong Kong.
