Shali Lodge

The Shali lodge is an example of beautiful and authentic traditional architecture. The lodge is constructed of rock salt, originally built by nomads and abandoned in 1980’s, the lodge was given a face lift and turn into a beautiful resort with eight housing for the rich. The Shali lodge reminds me of Luke Skywalker’s family pad on Tatooine.

Tatooine is a desert planet on the galactic frontier, home to Tusken Raiders, Jawas, and many alien species who stop through the remote spaceports on their way through Outer Rim hyperspace trade routes. Tatooine’s few cities house a variety of galactic flotsam, and offer both refuge and danger to visitors from outside. – Star Wars
