Six Storey Building Trading Places
18 November 2006 | Category: Construction and Tech

Found this article in TheStar papers. My first thought was - Wow! I never knew that it is possible to move a building that is structurally rooted to the ground. China is booming and I guess everything is possible.
A six-storey building is being moved slowly on jacks in Xiamen, in south-eastern China’s Fujian province on Thursday. The Building is to be moved 61m and turned 45 degrees to make space for a planned new building on the site. The move is expected to take until next Saturday. - AP
