After months of rumors, its official now that Google has acquire a company called adscapemedia for 23 million dollars. Adscape is a video game advertising company that place dynamic ads right inside the game. This is an interesting development considering Google’s acquisition of Sketchup, and with the combination of Google Earth, a virtual world with real advertisement / billboards is something to look forward in the next few years. I can’t imagine myself browsing through Google Earth and find weird advertisement over some billboards in Kuala Lumpur, do my government and country get paid for these virtual advertisement?
You know, they have this thing called Google Moon, Google added some NASA imagery to the Google Maps interface to help you pay your own visit to our celestial neighbor. You’ll see cheese if you zoom into the Moon… really! Zoom real close into it…
