Here is a nice picture or image (What is the difference between image, photo and picture?) … of our trip to Joondalup, nice wall graffiti! Basically these images are part of our group presentation on suburban, we are suppose to talk about the experience and it can be sum up in to one word – depressing. Joondalup is like a ghost town, I have never come across such a town in my entire life and my lecturer said the Joondalup Council actually increase the number of police patrol car from X figure, not because there is crime but due to the fact that there is almost no people anywhere.

on October 16th, 2008I agree with your observations,so what does the Joondalup Mayor & council do about it? Bring in paid parking to make it even less appealing! (It’s obvious that none of them actually live in Joondalup) All they care about is more revenue, at the expense of many small business’s going down. Thanks to them Joondalup is now becoming even more of a Ghost Town. They only needed a couple of parking inspector’s to monitor the parking bays, not ticket machines. have you read the comments left on inmycommunity.com.au i.e Paid parking few complaints. so far 17 comments. Its such a shame that Joondalup is mismanaged. Joondalup council should be run by Joondalup residents.
