Japan Micro-Homes in the Big City

Houses in Japan are getting smaller and smaller every year, it appears to be a trend in every first world Asian country for example Hong Kong and Singapore, but not for the Americans dream house.

The land of the rising sun, famously known for its miniaturized love affair with almost everything, from bonsai to gadgets and now it is the tiny home craze affair - compact living that has a floor size equivalent to an American garage.

I wonder, how small is a prison cell in Japan?
