Mukesh Ambani’s Three Billion Dollar House

I thought this was just a proposal, something that exist only on a piece of paper on the drawing board, I never once believed that such an expensive house would see the day of light, I was wrong. According to Mumbai News, the 60-storeyed residential building has:

  • Six floors for parking
  • Balconies with gardens
  • One helipad
  • 600 full time staffs
  • Mini-theater with a seating capacity of 50

Mukesh Ambani is the richest man in Asia with a net worth of $43 Billion. Living room (Left) and the powder room (right).

    @fadzlan: probably a landmark in mumbai, this would be a target for robbers, and not to mention kidnappers… its like a big billboard that shouts “I’m rich, rob me please!”

    It’s not clever, it’s not even architecturally excellent … it’s the the fantasy of a boy who has the wealth to materialise it.

    What a waste of effort.

    Just because something can be done, doesn’t mean you should go away and do it.

    At least the house looks very interesing I’ve got to say. With the parks and whatever there is. Btw. congrats on joining 9rules too here! :)

    Its alteast much nicer than the horrible architecture that happens in Bangalore, South India. Vijay Mallaya the liquor baron with similar dreams made laughing stock of Bangalore to the entire world with cheap copies of New York Sky Scrapers which he called ‘UB City’. ( It was designed by this senile Architect called Thomas who has religiously ruined Bangalore’s skyline along with formner partner Zahariah. ). Its a good architectural milestone. My point being, what if some stupid Indian architect had designed it?
