The free software is for personal use purposes and is subject to the terms and conditions of the end-user license agreement that accompanies download of the software. Why trouble yourself with the student version when the internet is flooded with so many pirated versions, the best part is it comes with no limitation or overprint, albeit some comes with viruses and trojans. With all the watermark plastered over your final print, it gives me the feeling of ‘I don’t want to lie to you and don’t want to tell you the truth either.’ Personally I think it makes more sense to sell a USD20 to USD50 ‘light’ student version with no limitation or watermark. Who needs are those bell and whistle in AutoCAD? A simple CAD tool is good enough.
