Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Beijing Engulfed by Fire!

Yesterday was the end of Lunar New Year, unfortunately it ended with an unforgettable celebration where the 40-story luxury hotel in central Beijing known as the Mandarin Oriental engulfed in massive fire – yes, it was massive, the top of the building exploded with a big bang as fire consumes the entire structure.
According to an eye witness via CNN citizen reporters:
The fire reached past the 30th floor, but did not spread to any adjacent buildings. The hotel is next to a newly constructed tower for China Central Television (CCTV), but no one has moved into that building either. The blaze erupted in the final hours of the Chinese Lunar New Year celebration as people set off fireworks across the city.
“Snow-like ashes fell as far as [half a mile] from the building and smoke eclipsed the full moon,” Xinhua reported of the blaze in the capital’s central business district.
And I googled for ‘Mandarin Oriental Hotel China After’ and found the following image.

Surprisingly the building is still standing, isn’t that funny? Consider the fact that the entire building was engulfed in fire and the top of the building exploded sending debris all over the city. Whereas Building 7, also known as WTC7 (with image of the building collapsing) was the third skyscraper in the world to be reduced to rubble on 911, the other two being Tower 1 an 2 of WTC. WTC7 wasn’t hit by a plane, was not engulfed in inferno, and no explosion or fire from or within the building yet it collapsed into heaps of rubble.
The more I think about this ’structural failure’ thing, the more I believe this entire 911 incident is nothing more than a US government conspiracy by the Bush regime, shall we say “License to invade Iraq and Afghanistan, and possibly Iran?”
Perhaps the Chinese have leapfrogged the US in term of building and structural engineering? I don’t think that is possible in another 100 years!
Is the moon landing another American conspiracy? The American was caught off guard when China announced to the world their first manned mission, and 2024 as the date of China’s first moonwalk. I am puzzled by the need for America to revisit the moon before the year 2024, before China. Not to mention the Blueprints and design and development drawings of the machines (Apollo spacecraft) involved are missing. Apollo 11 data tapes containing telemetry and the high quality video (before scan conversion) of the first moonwalk are missing. Source: Wikipedia and Sydney Morning Herald. Another Hoax? on February 23rd, 2009yeah, that’s pretty curious how that all happened. It is nice to see. I am sorry that someone had to die, but it IS a wonderful example proving that the WTC Towers were, yet again, demolitioned. Thanks for sharing, but how long the American public wants to sit quiet, I don’t know. My guess is the passage of time will permanently relegated the 9/11 murderers as a hoax that fooled most of America, and at best, showed our complacency to government.

Considering the Space Race — part of the ideological, technological, and cultural rivalry between the Soviet Union and the United States during the tense Cold War years — there is no way the Soviet Union would not have been very quick to dispute the facts of the United States’ moon landing to the entire world if Soviet scientists did not know the lunar landing to be a fact. The Soviet Union definitely had the means to know what was going on in 1969, with their satellites keeping track of things, as well as their own rockets, including Soviet unmanned probes — the first of which had reached the Moon’s surface way back on 12 September 1959 — yet the Soviet Union never issued any statements disputing the United States’ landing.

on March 2nd, 2009Describing WTC7 as not engulfed in fire is pure nonsense. That’s the reason the fire team was pulled from there, since everyone knew the bldg could not survive that fire, sitting on top of 2 giant diesel tanks.
All day the firemen said it was going to fall, described it as leaning way out of plumb and making terrible noises, groaning, etc. Did you miss this somehow, since firemen’s statements to that effect are all over the Web, along with photos of a 20-story chunk knocked out of a corner of Bldg7 when the Towers collapsed.
Lying about this doesn’t add much to your credibility, and just puts you in the same flaky category as Alex Jones & the other frauds.

The fire proves absolutely nothing re. WTC. Circumstances, structural design, fire compartmentation and protection, service riser configuration, speed of widespread initiation, mechanical trauma…
Ther parameters are too widespread and too disimilar. There is in fact NO proof – not even circumstantial evidence – that the WTC buildings were deliberately demolished by anyone other than the terrorists aboard the airplanes.
The conspiracy theorists have consistently ignored common sense pragmatic arguments which refute their theories, and rely on the romance of insubstantial rumour. People wwant to believe the extra-ordinary. David Blaine will tell you that.

on April 26th, 2009Im not sure about UK engineers but about 640 architects and engineers in the US have put their names down on reports stating the opposite of your claims.
But hey, that really was a special day since it saw three building fall because of fire.
Engineers can show you tons of pictures of burned out husks of buildings that remained after being gutted by fires and NOT falling.
Im sure you can come up with another example of one that did. So feel free to give us a link.
My brother works as an environmental representative who does job hazard analysis for demolition jobs working on plans for containment and disposal of hazardous substances as well as schedule of inspections and helping set the proposed timetables.
He is more than anxious to hear how a UK engineer seems to have more belief in pragmatism than science.
A structural problem in 3 buildings (one being totally unaffected by anything than fires) that would cause them to fall because of ‘fire’ would have been the call for a MAJOR rethink of engineering procedures.
Some truthers want to believe too much and go beyond the reach of science and into supposotions. Others like you want us to believe that once in a lifetime events can be attributed to a new theory about thermal capabilities.
Stick to the science, not to what you THINK happened. It goes for both groups.

on September 10th, 2009It´s enough to consider that BOTH WTC towers fell in a VERY vertical fashion and you have 2 possibilities:
1 – It was a carefully measured implosion
2 – The USA is INCREDIBLY lucky that none of the towers fell sideways (which would crush millions)
There has been zillions of fires all over the globe and none of the buildings fell. But nooo the WTCs HAD to be different and therefore HAD to fall due to the fire!
