IQ Test For Mr.Smarty Pants Architect

Found this IQ test here, a mathematical challenge, and it’s been said that:

  • If you’re an engineer, you should be able to solve it in (under) three minutes,
  • if you’re an architect, in three hours;
  • if you’re a doctor, in six hours;
  • if you’re an accountant, in three months and
  • if you’re a lawyer, probably never.

I found the answer in less than 1 minute, not really that hard. It is like Sudoku, only easier.

    total sum of lowest row numbers = 44
    44 – total sum of far right column numbers, excluding the “?”, which is 31 = 13…

    We did this in class today and I solved it in about 30 seconds (I’m 13).
    I actually worked out all of the symbols instead of subtracting =p
    =)

    Pretty good test. Took me about 3 minutes…albeit, I just woke up.

    took me less that 3 minutes, like you I enjoy Sodoku so it really wasn’t much of a challenge.

    Someone should send them this link and tell them maybe architects get it in around a minute
