When your neighbours move in

Only one home remains after developers moved in, apparently the developer offer them a huge lump sum of money but the family refuses to move out from their house (why should they?). This makes me wonder how would the project take off when there is a house in the middle of site, and is there no law to govern all the building regulation? I think the developer tried to make things hard for the family and somehow force them out of their house. Read more.
