The Disappearing City + Old Abandoned Houses

There used to be an abandon wooden house right across my parent’s house, thorn down to make way for development. Just like any other abandoned house, it is covered with green; plants grew from every corner of the house. As a kid, I wanted to explore the ‘ghost’ house. Why is it abandoned? Who used to live in the house? What happened to the previous owner?
And the million dollar question – Where is the hidden treasure chest? That was the good old days whereas kids today hunt for treasure chest in virtual world.

I find the navigation somewhat confusing, click on the ‘next’ button on the upper left for more images.
Curiosity got the best out of me, until today, I still find abandoned houses fascinating. Maybe it is the idea of improving an object, not giving up hope. Just like the Japanese philosophy that focuses on continuous improvement throughout all aspects of life – Kaizen.
