Compact Living – Nine Square Feet House
Found this amazing Kernel Tiny House Design via BoingBoing. According to designer Michael Jantzen, “I came up with the size by asking myself how what the absolute minimum amount of space would be needed for someone to live. I did a quick calculation in my head of the amount of space I took up while laying down and came up with nine square feet.”
Where is the bed? In the loft, which is part of the overhanging porch for his ‘tiny’ car – the world’s smallest. And the concept? Inspired by the British Red Telephone Booth.
Head over to BoingBoing for some really amazing and wicked comments.
