I got a Metric Handbook and I have to say this book is a big let down. I was told by the lecturer that it was a good buy, I should have went for the neufert, its way much better. These books are every architect’s bible. The neufert comes with 648 pages and 6200 illustrations, believe me, it is going to burn a hole in your pocket… well, not really, depends on how you search for that book – ONLINE.

Yes, that is the magical word, with today’s super fast unlimited broadband, everyone is a pirate. You want a free copy of the neufert? Search for the torrent file. Yes, its a pirated ebook and its a crime to download. My advice is, do what you think is right but get a original copy when you find that book really useful, believe me, you are going to use it for the rest of your life.
