Bloggers United

Two socio-political bloggers have been served with papers by lawyers representing New Straits Times Press (NSTP) over postings in their blogs that were deemed defamatory. They are Jeff Ooi and Ahirudin bin Attan.

The ruling party – Barisan Nasional controls every major newspaper and broadcasting, it is so sickening to read news that are filters and twisted to their needs. Let me see… it is alright to wave a weapon (dagger) and shout racist remarks condemning another race but it is wrong to blog about the truth. From what I read, the government is not involve with this legal case, but I would like to see a fair trial for these bloggers.
