If you’re into compact living, these videos will provide the much needed inspiration. Philips Johnson once said: “Today industrial design is functionally motivated and follows the same principles as modern architecture: machine-like simplicity, smoothness of surface, avoidance of ornament…. It is perhaps the most fundamental contrast between the two periods of design that in 1900 the Decorative Arts possessed…” I always believe the less moving parts an object has, the longer it last. Same goes with Cars, Smartphones, Toys and etc. Albert Einstein once said: “Make everything as simple as possible, but not simpler.”

The author is not a CAD expert nor a web genius. Just another guy spending too much time online. The tutorials featured here are meant for basic level understanding.

  1. seriously doubt that can be called minimalism… perhaps the colour is minimalist… but thats about it… how about essentialism? ;)

  2. this seems more contemporary because of the uniqueness of it ad it also seems like there is a chair a and stool with in it… very Kool by the way
